If you already know Andersen is what you want, we’ll quote it — but for most West Texas homes, Simonton delivers the same energy performance for a better value.

What Low-E glass actually does

Low-E (low-emissivity) glass has a microscopic metal-oxide coating that reflects infrared heat back into the room in winter and back out of the room in summer. In a Lubbock climate where the sun is brutal eight months out of twelve, this is the single biggest energy upgrade a window can deliver. We include Low-E glass in nearly every replacement window we install.

Why There are Different Quotes for Replacement Windows in Lubbock, TX

A homeowner in Lubbock or Odessa rings up contractor A, explains he or she needs new windows, asks how much installation will cost, and receives a quote. The person calls contractor B, does the same thing, and gets a different quote. Then, he or she calls contractor C, and gets yet another quote. Maybe the costs named differ by just a few dollars. Combine these two factors with the number of windows that need replacing, and you’ll better understand the projected costs of a job. Other factors can include the expertise of the contractor and other materials to be used.
