We don’t walk on water, but we’ll bust our backside trying!
I hope this note finds each of you well. Our family and everyone associated with our company appreciates you and wants the best for you.
As most of you know, we do a lot of television advertising. We normally produce several different spots and rotate them for a lengthy period of time. There comes a time that we feel the need to freshen up our approach with a “new” look. At that point, I start wrestling with the dilemma of trying to communicate our basic offering, basic values and core practices in a new and different way. That process is harder than you think it might be. I think I could compare it to an old preacher who has pastored the same church for 25 years. He has a valuable message, but how can he tell the story to a familiar crowd in a new way?
You know what I’ve decided? I’ve decided not to worry about it. We will just continue to stress our availability to offer honest, dependable home improvement services along with our intent to stand behind the work we do. That’s a simple message that doesn’t have a lot of glitter or fluff that goes along with it. That’s who we are and that’s what we strive to do each day. It’s sort of like a line that will be in one of our new commercials. It says, “We don’t walk on water, but we will bust our backside trying!” I hope every customer we work for has that view of us.
We thank you for helping us spread the word to your friends, neighbors, family and acquaintances. We could not do what we do without you. I want you to know we will keep working to ensure “the proof’s in the puddin’”.
