Tell us a little about your background:

I was born and raised in Lubbock.  I’ve been married to Shirley for 37 years.  I have 3 children and 1 granddaughter.

How long have you worked at Jones & Associates and what do you do?

I’ve worked here for 19 years.  I am a sales representative.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

I like meeting people and learning what they do to make a living.

What suprised you most about working here?

The honesty, nothing is hidden.  It’s all out in the open.  I believe that’s what makes everyone get along.

What are some of your hobbies when you’re not working?

Fishing, watching football or anything on TV.  It seems to put a spell on me.

If someone writes a biography about you, what do you think the title should be?

“Lessons Learned!”

What is the best vacation you ever went on?

We rented a house right on the lake near Austin.  That was awesome!

What is something you’ve always wanted to try?

I would love  to play a piano well enough to show off to friends and family.

What is something most people don’t know about you?

When I was 8 or 9, I was on 2 local TV shows, Chuckwagon Charlie and the Lew Dee Saturday night theater.  (Lubbock natives may remember the shows)

Where do you see yourself in 20 years?

Hopefully, on a bank fishing with grandkids and great-grandkids.

 

What a pleasure it is having Randy on our team!  He has the best stories to tell about his job in the field!  I hope everyone enjoyed getting to know Randy a little better as much as I did!  Who knew he was a TV star as a kid!
