Meet Orval Jackson, one of our estimators!

 

 

Tell us a little about your background:

I was a coach and teacher for 9 years, the last 7 at Estacado High School.  I’ve been in this business for 25 years.  I have a 24 year old son, Jeremy.

How long have you worked at Jones & Associates and what do you do?

I’ve worked here for 8 years.  I am an estimator/salesman.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

I like meeting new people and I enjoy the flexibility of my job..

What are some of your hobbies when you’re not working?

I’m an avid golfer.  I enjoy traveling and going to movies.

If someone writes a biography about you, what do you think the title should be?

Been There, Done That

What is the best vacation you ever went on?

Trips with my son, Jeremy, going to New York.

What is something you’ve always wanted to try?

I’d like to try skydiving.

Where do you see yourself in 20 years?

Dead or retired-living the dream life of golfing.
