Happy New Year

Happy New Year!  I hope that everyone’s holiday season has been a memorable time of warmth and love.  Holidays are a special time, however, it always feels good to return to a more normal pace.

We start the new year with high expectations.  Business in 2008 was another record breaking year for Jones & Associates.  We had the honor and privilege to work for over 800 different homeowners.  For many of them, it was the second, third, or fourth time for us to have the opportunity to serve them.  Whatever success we enjoy is directly tied to the extreme loyalty of our customers and their willingness to keep calling and referring us to their friends and family.  We thank you and desire to be worthy of your trust.

The news continues to be filled with reports of the ‘economic crisis’.  Many of you have lost a lot of money in the stock market.  We have also seen a few large suppliers disappear overnight due to the credit problems.  Each of us has been impacted to some degree by the financial problems across the globe.

Fortunately, our little corner of the world has been cushioned from the full brunt that other areas have realized.  For that, I am thankful.  However, we would be naive to believe that there will not be additional challenges for us down the road.  So, how will we deal with them?  My plan is not to give in to the paranoia that is gripping so many.  I plan to work hard, work smart and trust God to see us through this predicament.  We are going to make it!  We may have to make a few adjustments, but the ‘sky is not falling’.

Let’s encourage one another to get on about living and leave the fearmongers to their own devices.  Our attitude can and does color our reality. I hope that 2009 is a great year for you and yours!  Thank you again for your business and please call when I can be of service.
