April is National Volunteer Month

Many don’t know that April is National Volunteer Month.  There are so many choices of places to volunteer your time.  What a wonderful way to take action and solve problems around us!  Whether you choose to help a neighbor, work in a soup kitchen, read to children at school or rake leaves for a single woman on your block, you can positively impact someone’s life with a small amount of your time.  Volunteers don’t usually have the time, but they have the heart!  Who can you help today?
