Spotlight!! Jeff Jones

Tell us a little about your background:

I grew up in Silverton, TX.  I attended Texas Tech.  I’ve been married to L’Anna Jones for almost 28 years and we have 3 children and 2 grandchildren.

 

How long have you worked at Jones & Associates and what do you do?

My wife and I started the company 27 years ago and do whatever no one else wants to do.

 

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

I enjoy the sense of accomplishment in making our customers happy.  I also enjoy the people I work with and seeing them make a good living.

 

What suprised you most about working here?

The business has grown to a much larger enterprise than we ever initially anticipated.

 

What are some of your hobbies when you’re not working?

Hunting, skiing, racquetball, reading and working at the ranch.

 

If someone writes a biography about you, what do you think the title should be?

HE TRIED HIS BEST (most of the time)

 

What is the best vacation you ever went on?

Hawaii

 

What is something you’ve always wanted to try?

To take off and land an airplane.

 

What is something most people don’t know about you?

I’m a terrible golfer.

 

Where do you see yourself in 20 years?

Sleeping late, reading a lot in a comfortable environment, trying to stay active and plugged into a service ministry.

 

Jeff is a wonderful businessman, husband, father, friend, etc.  I know I’m partial becaue he’s my husband.  He cares so much for each person he works with and for each of his customers.  I hope you’ve enjoyed getting to know Jeff  better.  He’s a wonderful man!
